ill-esha
For many years ill-esha has weathered the dynamic, often ephemeral soundscape of Electronic music, simply by being an original. “I’m not really an observer. I’m very much a participant and a creator,” self-describes the Vancouver, British Columbia-born artist, songwriter, producer, and DJ. “Everything I do in my life, it quickly becomes way more than a hobby.” From growing up in the EDM hotbed of the Pacific Northwest, attending raves in her teens, Ill-esha accelerated her musical passions to the fullest. “First I wanted to be part of this culture as a DJ, doing vocals and curating music. After that, I also needed to participate in the music I was playing,” referring to her progression as a producer and headlining performer. “I’ve just been moving one step up at a time over the years, into being this completely original show.”
Although Ill-esha’s professional career dates back to the late 90s, the Denver, Colorado-based artist asserts that her recent evolution in music greatly contrasts with her initial work. Currently immersed in Future-Bass, Ill-esha’s music captivated audiences in 2013, tied to three separate tours, alongside Bassnectar, Beats Antique, and Big Gigantic.

Proper Motion
Proper Motion was created to take that which we love most about music and reawaken it with the ever-expanding possibilities of EDM. With a vibrant foundation in the passionate sounds of classic soul, producers Noah Marion and Harrison Watkins have ventured to create a sound that is both cutting-edge and nostalgic.
Strong dedication to electronic production and a rich background in musical composition and performance spurred Marion and Watkins to create Proper Motion in Boulder, Colorado in 2011. From the beginning, the product was an exciting and heartfelt sound that has since come to be called FutureSoul. It is based on the idea that in this quickly changing, brave new future of EDM, there will always be the human core, exemplified here through soul music, that creates an emotional bond with what we hear, feel, and do.
Since its genesis, Proper Motion has earned themselves loyal followings in a number of markets, toured throughout the Southeast and the Rocky Mountains, and shared the stage with incredibly talented artists like Break Science, GRIZ, Chali 2na, PANTyRAiD, Big Gigantic, Lotus, Beats Antique, and many more. 2014 will bring the release of their new EP, titled “At Long Last”, along with a number of shows in both new and established markets. With optimism and feverous dedication, the duo takes a step forward into the latest chapter of Proper Motion.

CurlyOnE
Ever since CurlyOnE first stepped up to the decks back in 1999, he’s been picking up momentum… and he is definitely not showing any signs of slowing! Born in 1980, and having been brought up on a steady diet of golden-era Hip-Hop, 80’s club beats and classic Salsa/Latin Jazz records, he had a fascination with turntables, poly-rhythmic drums and pumping baselines…So it’s no wonder that his journey into the DJ realm started in the House and Techno raves of the Mid-West, with a pair of belt-drive turntables and a desire to move the crowd. Spending hours locked away in the bedroom teaching himself how to mix, it wasn’t long before his skill level was on par with those who were at the forefront of the local music scene. After discovering the sounds of Jungle/Drum and Bass in the early 2000’s, he was driven by the desire to mix the street-savvy beats from his youth with futuristic, alien sounds that were being pushed through speaker stacks at the parties he attended. Having finished college back home in Puerto Rico, CurlyOnE returned to Colorado in 2004. He immediately begin immersing himself in the local music scene, playing small local shows, helping promote events, and networking with like-minded individuals. By the end of 2008, he discovered the sounds of Dubstep, and became completely obsessed. A chance encounter with members of Denver’s Sub.mission Crew was all he needed to send him in the right direction, and he’s been putting in work ever since. He’s been blessed to have performed at some of Colorado largest EDM events, including Global Dance Festival and Skylab. However, he does not limit himself to the EDM world… He’s been on several tours across the state playing shows with artists such as Souls of Mischief, Masta Ace & Edo G, Sweatshop Union, Prime Element, and Grieves. He has even held the honor of being “party-rock DJ” for the Colorado DMC Championships 3 years running.

Unlimited Gravity
Unlimited Gravity (Ronnie Weberg) is a multi-talented, life-long musician, originating from the heart of the contemporary electronic music scene – Denver, Colorado. The Unlimited Gravity sound is best described as an ingenious alchemical hybrid, combining the chaotic energy of crunchy crunk beats with the calculated precision and intensity of a classically trained composer. Setting himself apart from the masses, Ronnie has the unique ability to masterfully create the most marvelous dichotomy of sound within each track. Two dynamically oppositional forces are pitted against each other in a musical battle royale; the result is always a titanic struggle of epic proportions, from which only Unlimited Gravity could possibly emerge victorious.
Performing live using completely original productions, Ronnie tramples genre boundaries with an energy that is utterly impossible to replicate. Unlimited Gravity adheres to no laws. He defies physics with his musical feats, and is helping to usher in a new era of musicality, creativity, and originality in electronic music. As Vice President of the Mile High Sound Movement, one of the most influential artist collectives in Colorado, Unlimited Gravity is changing the face of electronic and bass music.
Ronnie and the President of The Mile High Sound Movement, Jay Jaramillo (Project Aspect), also have a collaborative project titled “Unlimited Aspect.” Unlimited Aspect is an absolutely one-of-a-kind performance, combining the explosive energy of two of Colorado’s most talented artists to form a synthesis of face-melting siren synths and earth-shaking bass lines. Project Aspect and Unlimited Gravity are unreservedly the best at what they do. -Written by Ethan Baer (EDM.com)

Human Agency
At its core, hip-hop/electronic group Human Agency is comprised of producer Seamus Moore and vinyl DJ/producer Ryan Kjos. Good men, and thorough. Growing up in high school jazz band, Seamus & Ryan have performed and produced music together for over 10 years. Their sound originates from the use of vinyl samples, which contribute to a unique spread of symphonic, soul, folk rock and world rhythms. With the addition of beat based production, original composition and live instrumentation, Human Agency pulls off a stylized electronic sound that quickly moves from sultry, calming mid-tempo to aggressive yet calculated dance music. It ain’t jam, it ain’t forceful electronic… it’s just right. As the Agency evolved over its 5 year stint in the Colorado music scene, drummer Jonas Otto was brought on to reinforce heavy rhythms, meticulous tightness and rapier wit. Early 2015 saw The Agency expand to regularly incorporate live guitar, bass guitar and multi-dimensional keyboard/organ work to their sound, launching this established act into new galaxies of possibility and style. This breath of new life takes their shows to brand new platforms of appeal. Human Agency’s music is distinctive and inimitable, their sense of arrangement and movement is calculated, and there is no sign of these boys stopping anytime soon. Find their music on iTunes, Spotify, Pandora & BandCamp (free DL) They have shared the stage with legendary acts such as EMANCIPATOR, BONOBO, SHPONGLE, RJD2, THE NEW DEAL, ORCHARD LOUNGE, BREAK SCIENCE, ZOOGMA, BOOMBOX, LITTLE PEOPLE, BLUETECH, OTT, FUTURE ROCK & more!
