This workshop led by songwriter and performer Ayla Nereo will open up our creative channels to receive song, to experiment and play with our voices and creative process, and to offer our Sound into the world to feed the Life that breathes us each moment. Through trusting our ability to listen and create sound, we learn to trust our own intuition and power to be creators of our lives. Each time we sing, we find new edges, and by leaning into them we can see who we are becoming. We sing for the Joy of it. And we sing for the Need of it, to make offerings of sound that can ripple out and make beauty and good for this planet. Ayla will facilitate group singing that leads us into a deeper understanding of how to receive and create music, find words and craft lyrics, shape melodies into whole songs, and trust ourselves as we do it all.
This is an open space for us all to be creative, loud, playful, and strong. It is both a personal journey and a collective experience.
