Spectacle is a Denver based trio with a very unique and interesting instrumentation. With Guitar, Violin, and Auxiliary Percussion the spectacle team is able to combine Funk, Jazz, and Afrocuban influences creating very fresh sounding tracks. Michael Mahan (frontman) brings a unique human element by playing a variety of different instruments from keys, guitar, bass, and synth. Collectively with member’s Jessica Borth (Violin) and Rob Brandon (Percussion), Spectacle grips the crowd for a show that’s both mesmerizing and groovy from start to finish. With influences from ODESZA, GRIZ, TYCHO, and BONOBO the band has a wide diversity of different paced songs that bounce from all of the best electronic genres of music; bringing their audience through a dynamic emotional journey. Alongside their live projections and lights, there’s no reason to call it a SPECTACLE!
