After 17 years of musical camaraderie, Jordan Linit (Kinetix/Ableminds) and Josh Fairman (Kinetix) have created Analog Son. Based around a studio project involving The Shady Horns (Lettuce, Soulive), Joe Tatton (The New Mastersounds), Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk) and Joey Porter (The Motet/Juno), Analog Son calls upon the funkiest of friends including some of Denver’s finest local talent (members of The Congress, Fox Street All Stars, Kinetix, Rebel Tounge, Devon Parker, the Shady Horns, Joe Tatton and more). This funky brainchild was born at Scanhope Sound in fall 2013, and while Josh and Jordan had conceptualized this project for years, much of the composition was impromptu as each guest musician brought their own unique brand of artistry to the table stirring up a sizzling musical melting pot. Analog Son has supported The Funky Meters, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, The New Mastersounds and Orgone at some of Colorado’s premiere venues.
